Turkmenistan's President Holds Working Meeting on Digital System

Today, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev and the governors (hyakims) of the provinces (velayats). The meeting focused on issues related to the country's agricultural sector and ongoing regional work.
First to report was T. Nurmyradov, the Governor of Ahal Velayat, who briefed on the pace of seasonal agricultural work in the region.
He reported that preparations are currently underway for the upcoming wheat sowing campaign. This includes plowing fields cleared of grain harvests, readying agricultural machinery and equipment, and preparing high-quality seeds for the sowing season.
In cotton-planted areas, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are actively being carried out with the extensive use of agricultural machinery.
Alongside the current harvest, preparations are also underway for the autumn sowing of potatoes and melon crops cultivated in the region's agricultural lands.
The Governor also reported on the progress of construction for social, cultural, and industrial facilities slated for opening in the velayat this year. This construction is in line with the President of Turkmenistan's Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the "National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Transforming the Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Settlements, Etrap Cities, and Etrap Centers for the Period up to 2028."
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov emphasized the importance of current seasonal work, particularly cotton care, and laying the groundwork for next year's agricultural harvest in accordance with agrotechnical standards. In this regard, he gave specific instructions to the Governor.
Furthermore, the head of state ordered control to be exercised over the quality and timely completion of construction work on facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year.
Next, H. Ashyrmyradov, the Governor of Balkan Velayat, reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns in his region.
He reported that plowing is underway to prepare fields for the sowing season, and measures are being taken to ensure the proper functioning of agricultural machinery and the selection of quality wheat seeds.
In the region's cotton-planted fields, inter-row cultivation, irrigation, and mineral fertilization continue.
In accordance with the objectives set to further strengthen food abundance in the country, work is underway related to harvesting potatoes and other melon crops grown in the region and supplying the domestic market with these products. At the same time, preparations of fields and seeds for autumn sowing are being carried out.
The Governor also reported on the progress of construction for facilities planned for opening this year.
Summarizing the report, the head of state stressed that, given the increased demand for agricultural products, strict adherence to agrotechnical standards is a necessary requirement for obtaining abundant harvests. He issued a number of specific instructions to the Governor in this regard.
President Serdar Berdymukhamedov also ordered proper control to be ensured over the quality and timely execution of construction work on facilities planned for commissioning this year, within the framework of the Fatherland's socio-economic development programs.
Following this, D. Babaev, the Governor of Dashoguz Velayat, reported on the current agricultural campaigns in his region.
It was noted that the grain harvest is currently in its final stages. To prepare for the upcoming sowing season, plowing is underway in grain-harvested areas, and agricultural machinery and high-quality seeds are being prepared for wheat producers.
In cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are being carried out.
At the same time, work continues on harvesting potatoes and melon crops, supplying the domestic market with these products, and preparing for the autumn sowing.
In accordance with agrotechnical standards, activities for the care and mineral fertilization of the region's rice fields are being conducted.
The Governor also reported on the pace of construction for social, cultural, and industrial facilities slated for commissioning this year within the framework of the President of Turkmenistan's Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.

It was reported that within the framework of the upcoming wheat sowing in the velayat, plowing and mineral fertilization of fields are underway, along with the preparation of agricultural machinery and wheat seeds for the season.
In areas planted with cotton, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation continue.
To successfully fulfill the tasks of providing the population with sufficient volumes of domestically produced food products, appropriate measures are being taken in the velayat to harvest vegetables and melon crops, store them in cold storage facilities, and ensure their uninterrupted delivery to the population. In areas where these crops will be planted in the autumn, plowing and leveling work is underway.
Care for the region's rice fields is carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards.
The Governor also reported on the progress of construction for cultural, social, and industrial facilities planned for opening in the velayat this year within the framework of the President of Turkmenistan's Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.

Next, B. Orazov, the Governor of Mary Velayat, reported on the progress of current agricultural campaigns.
It was reported that plowing of fields freed from grain harvests, preparation of agricultural machinery, and procurement of high-quality seeds for wheat sowing are currently ongoing in the region.
In the velayat's cotton-planted areas, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are being carried out with the efficient use of agricultural machinery.
Appropriate steps are being taken to harvest potatoes, melon crops, and other agricultural crops grown in the region, deliver these products to the population, and prepare fields for the next sowing.
Furthermore, necessary measures are being implemented for sowing sugar beets within established agrotechnical deadlines in the velayat. Irrigation is being carried out in planted areas.
The Governor also reported on the progress of construction for cultural, social, and industrial facilities slated for opening in the region this year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov noted that timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures is one of the main conditions determining the effectiveness of agricultural production and the quality of resulting products. It was reported that currently, within the framework of agricultural activities in Turkmenistan, appropriate steps are being taken to transport harvested wheat from grain receiving points to warehouses and elevators, and to ensure proper grain storage. To prepare for the upcoming sowing season, plowing and leveling are being carried out in areas freed from grain harvests. Necessary measures are being implemented to prepare agricultural machinery and high-quality wheat seeds for the season.
In the regions' cotton-planted fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are being carried out in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.
Care activities for rice fields in Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats, and sugar beet sowing in Mary Velayat, also continue. Areas where sugar beet sprouts have emerged are being cared for according to agrotechnical standards.
In accordance with the objectives set to further strengthen food abundance in the country, work is underway in the regions to harvest potatoes and melon crops, and to ensure timely delivery of these products to the population. At the same time, preparation of fields and seeds for the autumn sowing of these crops is being carried out.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov noted that the state pays special attention to the development of the agricultural sector, investing significant funds in the purchase of modern agricultural machinery, the introduction of water-saving technologies, the construction of new irrigation systems, and the development of seed production and livestock breeding. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to constantly monitor the successful implementation of the tasks set for the industry to further strengthen food abundance in the country and ensure raw material supply for the processing industry.
Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state once again emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal agrotechnical measures and instructed them to keep under review the work on cotton care in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, and to ensure the timely preparation of wheat and other agricultural crop seeds for next year's harvest.
Concluding the working meeting on the digital system, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov wished its participants good health, family well-being, and great success in their work.
