National Leader of the Turkmen People Reviews Preparations of Facilities for International Events

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as part of his working visit to Balkan Velayat, visited the Congress Center in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone. Here, various levels of meetings will take place during the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The Congress Center, with its original architectural design, is located in a picturesque spot on the Caspian Sea coast and blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural landscape.
In just a few years, the seaside has been transformed beyond recognition: numerous luxurious hotels, cottage settlements, and park, health, and entertainment infrastructure facilities have been built. Thus, a wide range of recreational and leisure services are offered to the public. Furthermore, this area boasts a favorable ecological environment and climate, largely due to the Awaza River flowing through it.
Early in the morning on the Caspian coast, especially within the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, the fresh sea air invigorates and energizes. All this has been made possible by the measures taken to maintain ecological well-being, particularly along the seashore. It should be noted that protecting and strengthening public health, creating conditions and opportunities for citizens' full-fledged recreation, and promoting healthy lifestyles in society are among the priorities of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's state policy.
Hero-Arkadag, currently on a working visit to Balkan Velayat, inspected the territory of Awaza, which has significantly transformed into a green garden. The luxurious building, designed for international conferences and bilateral meetings, is particularly striking in its original architecture and magnificent design. The building houses large and small halls, whose equipment allows for the organization of various forums, including in online format.
Within the framework of the upcoming Conference, various events will be held here, largely determined by the availability of appropriate conditions and opportunities for their organization.
Noting the great importance for increasing interaction of the decisions and agreements that will be reached following high-level meetings and negotiations, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the need for proper preparation of the premises.
The arrangement and equipping of the building must correspond to its status as a center of business and political activity. Speaking on this, Hero-Arkadag pointed out the importance of taking measures to ensure opportunities for the effective work of foreign representatives. As noted, conducting the upcoming events at a high level requires well-coordinated organization of all processes, taking into account the latest standards.
The events planned within the framework of the Conference will be significant occurrences of the Revival era of the new epoch of the powerful state, which will inscribe bright pages in the history of our Fatherland, Hero-Arkadag stated, expressing confidence that their organized conduct will be a visible testament to our country's achievement of its grand goals.

Measures for the care and landscaping of the seashore also significantly affect the aesthetic and ecological components of this area. All work processes fully comply with modern requirements, which has been made possible by the successful implementation of large-scale reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
The favorable climate, the enormous recreational potential of the Caspian coast, and the measures taken based on advanced technologies, innovations, and architectural and engineering solutions have made this area a "sea pearl."
All conditions for year-round recreation and health improvement are provided here. In summer, the number of visitors significantly increases.
At the same time, the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone has become a popular place for family holidays. All conditions are provided for children's engaging and beneficial pastime. Young Turkmen citizens express their sincere gratitude to the head of state and Hero-Arkadag for their happy lives and opportunities for full-fledged recreation.
It is also worth noting that many major forums, conferences, etc., are held annually in Awaza, which indicates wide recognition of the zone created on the beautiful Caspian coast as a center for international events.
Thus, the creation of the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone on the seashore opens up enormous opportunities for the effective use of the features of Turkmen nature, including the immense recreational potential of this area. All this is one of the priorities of state policy aimed at ensuring a happy life and protecting the health of citizens.
It should be noted that the Caspian Sea, including the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, plays an important role in strengthening international ties in the Central Asian region. At the state level, every effort is being made to increase Awaza's economic, cultural, and political potential. This strengthens its status as a center of international importance.
Emphasizing the importance of accelerating the pace of repair and construction work, as well as expanding the recreational zone in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, as in all regions of the country, Hero-Arkadag gave valuable recommendations on this matter. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the decorative design of the buildings of the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, its lighting, and the ecological situation in the region.
Subsequently, Hero-Arkadag arrived at the venue of the international forum, where cultural and humanitarian events will take place.
Here, Hero-Arkadag was presented with projects for the renovation of facilities intended for cultural events in the center of Awaza, as well as schemes of their proposed location.
Among them are projects for theatrical interactive sea fountains, a choykhana (tea house), playgrounds, samples of marble figures, chairs, lighting and fencing systems that will be installed here and in the water bodies, as well as the design of the stage for performances.
Hero-Arkadag familiarized himself in detail with the presented projects, made a number of remarks, and introduced corresponding adjustments.
As noted, comprehensive preparations are underway for the cultural program of the international forum, which will be held on the seashore. It was also reported that a unique friendship festival would be organized within its framework, with representatives from Central Asia and other countries expressing great interest in participating.
This is further evidence of the global significance of international events held in our country. Noting that the quality and appearance of building and finishing materials used in the reconstruction must comply with modern requirements, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that modern practices and national architectural principles should be organically combined in these works.
The architectural solutions applied here should be designed for the long term. At the same time, factors such as strength, comfort, and aesthetics must be taken into account. This is the essence of the construction and repair work being carried out.
Song and music performances, which will be organized with the participation of foreign artists, should reflect the high goals aimed at ensuring peace and sustainable development.
The design of the recreational area's music stage, its lighting, and the ecology of this area should create a single harmony, merging into a melody of friendship and harmony aimed at establishing universal peace.
The international forum, being one of the main events of the International Year of Peace and Trust, should be filled with vivid events and memorable moments. Its multifaceted nature will demonstrate the implementation of Turkmenistan's national principles and neutrality strategy, Hero-Arkadag noted and gave recommendations to the relevant heads.
Hero-Arkadag emphasized that by holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries on the Caspian Sea coast and organizing cultural and humanitarian events within its framework, Turkmenistan is building bridges of friendship between the states of the world. This will be the main event of the International Year of Peace and Trust, declared by the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan, which will meaningfully complement the series of celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Fatherland's neutrality.
Subsequently, Hero-Arkadag familiarized himself with the progress of preparations at a number of hotels located in picturesque corners of Awaza and the conditions created within them.
