National Turkmen of Turkmen People inspected the progress of construction projects across Ashgabat

On May 9th, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working trip around Ashgabat. During this trip, he familiarized himself with the progress of work at the construction site of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the erection of which is proceeding at an accelerated pace, as well as with the designs of a number of facilities.
Currently, under the leadership of the Head of State, the large-scale reforms initiated by the Hero-Arkadag in the national education system are being successfully implemented. In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, care for the younger generation, which is called upon to strengthen the foundation of modern science, constitutes the basis of the socially oriented state policy of the President of Turkmenistan.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived at the construction site of the complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, which is progressing at a rapid pace. Currently, work here is being carried out in accordance with the established schedule.
Here, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov, on the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, reported to the Hero-Arkadag on the state of construction work in the capital.
As noted, the construction of the new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and its equipping are being carried out in accordance with modern requirements. In this regard, great importance is attached to ensuring the high quality of the work being carried out and the construction materials used, as well as the landscaping of the adjacent territory.
The Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, having familiarized himself with the design features of the complex of buildings and the equipping of the institute's classrooms, made a number of comments and introduced relevant adjustments. During the construction and decoration of the buildings, national architectural principles and modern best practices should be harmoniously combined.
The design features of the institute's buildings, conference halls, specialized facilities, their equipping with the latest equipment, and the opportunities created for obtaining comprehensive knowledge and conducting practical exercises should fully meet the requirements of the day.
Speaking about this, the Hero-Arkadag noted that all the necessary conditions should be created in the dormitories for students provided for within the framework of the complex's construction. At the same time, the equipping of the residential buildings being erected for the institute's teaching staff and the arrangement of the rooms should correspond to the spirit of the modern era.
The Hero-Arkadag emphasized the need to keep these issues under constant control, including the equipping of the institute's buildings, including the dining hall and library. A comprehensive approach should be taken to the interior design of all premises, as well as to their furnishing, which will have a positive impact on the quality of education for students and the improvement of conditions for the teaching staff.
As noted, the construction of the complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction at the proper level, the modern equipping of classrooms and laboratories will allow for the training of young specialists, the active use of the latest achievements of national and world science, as well as information technologies, and the expansion of research activities.
Currently, the comprehensive development of the national education system, the strengthening of its material and technical base, and its elevation to a qualitatively new level are among the priorities of the state policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and worthily continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The Hero-Arkadag also familiarized himself with the designs of the buildings of the "Güneşli" Children and Youth Center, which includes sports and playgrounds, venues for cultural and mass events, an amphitheater, sites for studying traffic rules, and other related facilities.
Noting the defining role of the Center in the comprehensive education and development of children's skills and abilities, including adolescents, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the need for the proper execution of the planned work. In short, everything necessary should be undertaken here for the development of the intellectual potential of the young generation, our courageous people, and the cultural and spiritual development of society, which will serve the further socio-economic well-being of the Motherland.
Continuing, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov informed about the dilapidation and expiration of the service life of the building of the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library. In this regard, on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, several design options for the corresponding new building were developed, which were presented to the Hero-Arkadag.
Having thoroughly reviewed the designs, the Hero-Arkadag noted the expediency of constructing a new building for the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library on the territory of the "Güneşli" Children and Youth Center. The decision itself is quite justified, given that the Center will host many clubs based on children's skills and interests. Speaking about this, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of constructing the State Children's Library in accordance with the requirements of modern realities and with the effective use of innovative technologies, focusing on the fact that the work should be carried out in coordination with relevant structures.
Incidentally, on the initiative and with the active support of the Hero-Arkadag, libraries that fully meet the requirements dictated by the times, including their equipment, have been built in all velayat (regional) centers. Observatories with instruments for observing and studying celestial bodies also operate within them, which further enhances their value as centers of knowledge.
Overall, the decision to build a library on the territory of the Children and Youth Center, which is planned to be built in a picturesque corner of the capital, testifies to the continuity, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, of the good undertakings of the Hero-Arkadag.
Then, the Hero-Arkadag familiarized himself with the landscaping project on the territory of the Neutrality Monument, located in the south of the capital. As noted, this structure, embodying the primordial principles of humanism and peacefulness, is the pride of the Turkmen people.
Our country, whose neutrality status has been recognized three times by the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly, is known in the international arena as a land where peace and a happy life prevail. All this is the result of the successful implementation, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, of the foreign policy based on the doctrine of peacefulness initiated by the Hero-Arkadag.
As noted, two museums will operate on the territory of the Neutrality Monument, on the facades of which the inscriptions "Baky ýoluň" ("The Eternal Path") and "Bitaraplygy" ("Neutrality") will be placed, which carries a huge message, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized. Therefore, they should reflect the history of Turkmen neutrality and the essence of the relevant resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly at the initiative of our country.
The values of the museums will enhance the younger generation's sense of pride in the history and successes achieved along this path by their native Fatherland, as well as in its peaceful foreign policy. All this will become a clear manifestation of the result of efforts aimed at recognizing the foreign policy strategy of our state on the global stage.
Deputy Prime Minister B. Annamammedov reported on the progress of the construction of the higher educational institution of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. In addition, as reported, a Dental Center is being built in Ashgabat. Special attention is being paid here to the equipping and landscaping of the area adjacent to the facility.
The International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology for 500 beds is also being built at an accelerated pace. At the same time, the International Center of Pediatrics for 160 beds is being erected in the capital.
Among other new buildings in the capital are comfortable residential buildings: the construction of residential facilities in the residential areas of the city of Ashgabat is of a consistent, programmatic nature.
Also, a special place is given to the construction of general education institutions with modern equipment that meet international standards.
Currently, the scale of the work being carried out under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in this area is fully manifested in the increase in the number of preschool institutions being built.
It should also be noted the great attention paid to the construction of road and transport infrastructure facilities, in particular, multi-lane overpasses and bridges, which ensure smooth traffic flow.
All opportunities are also being created for cultural and artistic figures who are making tremendous efforts to enrich the spiritual world of our people. This is clearly evidenced by the Cultural Center for 4,000 seats being built in the capital.
Then, within the framework of the report, information was given about the Health House, equipped in accordance with modern standards, which is being built at an accelerated pace on the territory of a residential complex on the outskirts of the capital.
The Hero-Arkadag gave Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov, as well as Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov, specific instructions and relevant recommendations on monitoring the quality of construction work and its completion within the established deadlines.
Wishing everyone success in the proper and timely implementation of the planned tasks, the Hero-Arkadag proceeded to the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan.
Today, restoration and repair work continues here at an accelerated pace. The Hero-Arkadag was presented with designs for new buildings featuring benches, lighting elements, as well as an indoor arena. As reported, the finishing of the complex, as well as the landscaping of the territories adjacent to the facilities, meets modern requirements.
Having thoroughly reviewed the designs, the Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, noted that the main requirement is the high quality of work performed according to the established schedule. The contractor is the construction company "GAP Inşaat Ýatirim ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi" (Republic of Turkey).
Representative of "GAP Inşaat" Recep Akçı reported on the ongoing work and the implementation of previously given instructions. The Hero-Arkadag, who has a special reverence for Akhal-Teke horses, emphasized the need for the proper execution of the tasks set in accordance with the profile of the complex. Akhal-Teke horses, nurtured by our ancestors and which have become the heritage of universal civilization, are the pride of the Turkmen people.
Speaking about this, the Hero-Arkadag noted the expediency of covering the race tracks with sand from those regions of the Karakum Desert which, according to scientific analysis, are suitable for this purpose. A responsible and scientifically sound approach should be taken to each process, in particular, to the construction and landscaping of the territory around the facilities, and the covering of the tracks.
It should be noted that today the entire country resembles a large-scale construction site; in particular, the construction of educational and medical institutions, as well as cultural and artistic facilities, continues in the capital, meaning that a significant part of the new buildings belongs to the social infrastructure.
